South Pennine Road Club

Time Trialling is one of the easiest and most popular forms of competitive cycling to attempt; distilled down its just about riding a bike from A to B as fast as you can....

Time trials are usually run over standard distances of 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles or over 12 and 24 hours. Starting at one-minute intervals, riders complete the course alone without taking shelter behind other riders or vehicles.

The club hosts arguably some of the best and most popular local 'Club' time trials in the region on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the spring and summer.

South Pennine RC  also organise several very popular and competitive 'Open' time trials during the year as well as a hill climb in the Autumn.

These are a great place to both start time trialling or to sharpen your speed for the bike leg of triathlons.

South Pennine also have a number of annual time trial competitions with over ten trophies awarded at the club dinner for both season long and individual events

It costs just £3.00 to race the SPRC Club races…. And get the maximum suffering for your £

As South Pennine Road Club is a member of Cycling Time Trials, club members can enter both open and club time trials….

SPRC 'club' time trials have finished for the winter and will restart in April 2018.

Dates to be published shortly..

We look forward to seeing you then...
